FRANK CATALANO

Frank Catalano has won several Grammy awards for his remarkable sound and impact on contemporary jazz music.   His arrangement of “Love Supreme Collective” debuted at #1 on the itunes Jazz Charts in 2014 and featured an eclectic array of artists from various genres.  After establishing a signature saxophone technique he continues to be one of the most in-demand musicians.

Frank has released over ten jazz albums and has been referred to as having the modern day “John Coltrane energy for the 21st century” by Downbeat Magazine.  Frank’s album “Mighty Burner” was on the Billboard Charts for 20 straight weeks.

While in high school Frank began performing with Miles Davis, Randy Brecker, Tito Puente, Tony Bennett and other world-renowned musicians, which led to him signing with Delmark Records.

As an entrepreneur Frank patented a device that allows him to control his saxophone through midi components.  With this innovation he promoted Yamaha’s acquisition of the Special Merit Grammy Award for Technical Achievement in 2007.

Frank Catalano recently finished a successful tour of the United States, France, England, and Japan and released a series of live recordings on Ropeadope Records.  He also is the Celebrity Endorser for Drambuie Scotch Liqueur.
