STEVE MYERSON

Honoring the traditions of straight-ahead piano giants, Steve Myerson and his Trio celebrate their 2022 LP release Ready or Not, recorded live on stage at Birdland New York.  Ready or Not, Myerson's second full-length album release, comes on the heels of his 2009 piano-trio release In Your Absence. 

Steve's current or recent projects include a nearly-decade-long residence with the classic Philadelphia-soul band The Stylistics, a nationwide cable-TV commercial campaign featuring Steve with a posthumous recording of Aretha Franklin's "You're All I Need to Get By", and a professorship with William Paterson University specializing in Jazz piano instruction. 

Steve translates his travels and lifelong studies of music into a poignant, lush, feel-good vibe for fans of Jazz, blues, and the mighty piano, and his compositions are an of-the-moment snapshot of today's historically-grounded piano trio.
